Curagenda Galerie is a contemporary design gallery and art consultancy presenting artists and designers whose practices honor the tradition of craft. We curate exhibitions and programing in our private space, as well as pop-up exhibitions and through an online gallery, supporting artists, designers and creatives globally.
Helen Homan Wu
Born in Hong Kong, Helen grew up in New York’s downtown and Brooklyn, being surrounded by artists and musicians. Her father was a Chinese classical musician for the largest Chinese music ensemble on the east coast, therefore she grew up surrounded by classical musicians and opera performers. She graduated with a communication design and fine arts degree in NYC and studied abroad in London and Kyoto in the late 90s to early 2000. After working in the advertising industry for a short time, she turned her attention to the contemporary art world, curating art and producing projects for institutions such as Art Basel, the Smithsonian, Mercedes-Benz, MutualArt Group, among others. From there she ventured off to founding a successful luxury travel agency, Curagenda. Curagenda has been producing cultural programming, exhibitions, and events at their previous Madison Avenue headquarters in New York City, engaging local and international communities.
