Tadashi Murase
Nagoya, B. 1983
Tadashi Murase was born in Nagoya, Aichi in 1983. He co-founded the furniture and interior company Indian Creek Fete Kyoto and works as a furniture and interior designer based in Kyoto. He began his career as a professional hairdresser in his 20s in Japan and New York City for about a decade before transitioning into the design industry.
Currently, Murase is focused on creating aluminum sculptural pieces. Each furniture item showcases the two identities of form and purpose, able to stand independently and interchange between the roles. He uses industrial materials, particularly Aluminum Honeycomb panels, to create geometric shapes that establish a distinctive atmosphere when installed.
